John J. Healey I'm currently polishing a new novel about a woman asked to translate a manuscript from the first century that has been in the same English family for hundreds of years. She travels from New York to the family's large estate in Cornwall. The contents of the manuscript and what she finds in Cornwall change her life.

John J. Healey The Samurai's Daughter is the sequel to The Samurai of Seville, with many of the same characters and some new ones! I thought it best to write it entirely from the young woman's point of view. It is her story, a coming of age tale like few others.
