Yesterday, I went to work in the city as usual, came home and had a fun dinner with my wife and children, then fell asleep on the couch.
This morning I woke to an empty house. My hands covered in blood, I noticed a yellow post-it note stuck to the TV, the short message read, "This is just the beginning" in handwriting I did not recognise.

Now that I write full time, it is a matter of discipline and writing (almost) every day.
I usually write one chapter per day - which can vary in length from 3,000 to 4,000 words.

In early November I start work on a new Cozy Mystery series set in the 1920s (My current Norfolk Cozy Mystery series will continue!) It will be another self-published series, although this time using my own ISBN and publishing brand (Flegg Publishing), so I may distribute to bookstores, Libraries etc.
In mid-December, I begin my second Cozy for Lume Publishing with whom I signed a three-book deal some months ago.
The first title, 'A Deadly Coincidence' will be published mid-2021 in eBook, paperback and audio formats.
All in all, a busy time!

'A Yuletide Mystery' is my first Christmas Themed Book and the sixth title in my Norfolk Cozy Mystery series. The idea for the story arc came from my time as a National Trust volunteer at a fifteenth-century property. Look out for Jib doors, Ghostly apparitions and witch marks!
