When I first began writing, it was about escapism and creating a world of my own imagination. Then I began to consider making a living doing this something that I love. Publishing has finally given me the opportunity to find validation in my passion.

I have the luxury of being able to set my own deadlines. This is a huge advantage. If I feel blocked, I walk away from the project. Typically, I can give it a day or two before I come back to it. On rare occasions, I've begun outlining a new project before I come back to the old one.
