Write for yourself first and for others second. If you have a dream to write, then you should pursue it. Writing makes me feel whole. I couldn't imagine not doing it. If you share this passion, then writing needs to be a part of your life.

Sometimes inspiration hits when I least expect it. It can come from the lyrics of a song that move me (like "Chasing Pavements" by Adele...that one always chokes me up!) or when I'm standing in line at the grocery store and (dare I admit?) eavesdropping on conversations around me.
