Write a lot and read a lot. There is no better advice. The more you read, particularly in the genre you want to write it, you'll see what good writing is. The more you write the more you'll get better at your craft.

Everywhere! I'll hear a song lyric that sticks out to me and I'll get an idea for something. Lots of times it's just a phrase that someone will say and it strikes me a certain way. Often, out of the blue I get the idea for a book title and then I just come up with an idea based on that. It's kind of backwards that way but it works sometimes! :)
Reading also is very inspiring to me. It's hard for me to read a great book sometimes because the writing makes me itchy to write something myself. It's like listening to great music and you have to sing along!

Sometimes from the people around me. I listen carefully to things people say and sometimes a phrase will just stick out to me and will create an idea. Other times I try to tap into my experiences from my teen years. :)
