Who is my grandfather? A few years back, through some geneology tests, we learned that there is a great family secret surrounding the truth of my father's father. Personally, I've claimed Orson Scott Card for the role of my grandfather. I think this could make an interesting book premise. What do you think?

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!! Completing a novel of any size is a huge accomplishment. While I wish I could say yes, my deadlines don’t allow much wiggle room for peer reviews. I would absolutely suggest joining Wattpad where you can find peer reviewers, and google state writing organizations for further education and feedback. I know you’ll be a huge success and am honored that you thought of me. ❤️

Are you an author? I'm happy to read/review an ebook if you'd like to gift me one via Kindle.... :-)

Hey, Sarah! I generally write thrillers with magic, books that take readers out of this world, books like Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Star Wars, and Percy Jackson. Are you a writer too?
Jaimie Engle
I like books with fantasy elements (like the ones I write) but straight fantasy ironically isn't my fave. I loved the LOTR and side books, but books like Narnia, Percy Jackson, or my own Clifton Chase series, lend that fantastical element to stories that make me feel like I've left this world, if only till the end.
How about YOU? Are you into fantasy books? What are some of your faves?

I love to read, write, binge Netflix, drink coffee, hang with my family, laugh hysterically (or cry) watching TikTok, and going to schools to talk about literacy, social issues, and booknerd stuff! I absolutely LOVE interacting with my fellow book nerds and kids (or adults) who want to learn how to write.

Taylor, I look up books I think are similiar to mine and see what categories they are ranking in. Then, I find keywords that are similiar to those categories. I also always use the word "book" since only 2% of shoppers are looking for books so I want to be on that radar. And finally, I choose a social issue that my book exhibits as a minor category to have multiple showings on Amazon. Stay away from large, blanket categories and find small ones. Amazon LOVES being able to create new categories and new top 100 lists... so why not you??

Yes, totally. Just depends on a deadline and my timing. Do you have a link for me to take a look? Thanks so much for thinking of me!

Hey, Chris. I’m actually asked quite a bit, so... you’ll be happy to hear that I’m currently writing book 2, Clifton Chase in Sherwood Forest. If you’re a member of my SPRINKLING OF PIXIE DUST reward level or higher on Patreon, you get exclusive access to a chapter a month as it’s written!! (and audio formats too). Let me know if you’d like more info. You’ll already get access to the first 3 chapters once you sign up!!
Thanks so much for reading the book and for your comment. And please don’t forget to write an Amazon review for others to find Clifton Chase too!

Great question! There are two worlds that I absolutely love. The first is wonderland. I would love to go through and see everything Alice explored to include through the looking glass. I think this fantasy realm has more beyond the borders then the books shared and I would love to discover those places. The other world I'd love to dive into would be from my book The Dredge. It's a gritty Syfy futuristic world with interconnected travel to various planets of different scopes. I know there's a world beyond the one I created and I would love to explore those realms as well.

I have a few horror novels from Keith Rommel and Christina Farley's newest book The Princess and the Page on my end table ready to go. I know...horror or middle grade princess? I guess that's me in a nutshell!
