I grew up in Richmond, Ca and a lot of people from that city have experienced plenty of toxic air quality due to the nearby refinery. The big plot or even plot twist could be that the refinery was built here because of the people who live here. The types of people drawn to this area have special abilities and the refinery feeds off of that.

I look at my characters, think of who they are and the people around them. I let my characters tell me their stories and I simply record them for you.

For me the best thing about being a writer is that you get to create and inspire others. You can shed light and understanding on people and circumstances that sometimes we may be quick to judge and not exert understanding.
Also, I like the ability to control the outcome of things that are normally out of my control.

I'm currently working on Volume VIII of the WFA Series. It about Ethan Wallace and Jenise Wright. This volume is tentatively titled, "Just A Friend."

When I finished the rough draft for Volume VII of the WFA, I was going to start working on Season 2 of the TWAS Series. The gap in time and information started to bother me. There were certain spaces that needed to be filled before I could freely move on.
