John P. Logsdon Hi Chris,

The Relic has been unpublished I’m afraid. However, feel free to reach out yo me via direct message on here and I’ll see if I can get you a copy.

Thanks!
John P. Logsdon Hi Sara!

I will be, yes, but it's going to be a little different. I'm working on Ononokin Online, which will be a GameLit version of the Ononokin world. It'll star Whizzfiddle and Gungren, but we'll also see characters from the other books in there.

Thing is, it's going to take some time because there is A LOT of design work going into this. It's almost like making a video game! haha

If you want to send me a direct message, I can share some more information about it with you. ;)

Thanks for the question!

John P. Logsdon Hi Nathan!

The book is in edit right now, actually. It’s been fully written. We had a slight detour with the “Hell of a Party” book starring Bert the demon...fans were clamoring for it, so Noah and I pushed it ahead in the schedule. That delayed us a bit with “Singapore Spirits”, but we’re working on it as quickly as we can. ;)

Thanks for the question!

John P. Logsdon It’s being written right now. ;) Target is to have it live in early October!
John P. Logsdon That's strange! I just tried it from my laptop, phone, and iPad and they all worked fine for me. Do you happen to have a popup block installed maybe? That could do it as it is a popup window.

If that's not the issue, please send me an email at john@johnplogsdon.com and I'll get you set up that way. (Note that I'm currently traveling so I may be a little delayed in responding. ;))

Thank you for the question!
John P. Logsdon Going to go with Greg and Pam from "Meet the Parents." The movie is hilarious and I think the characterization help with that.
John P. Logsdon Hi Justin,

Honestly, I would start with the free books on my site so that you can test the waters to make sure that my writing style fits your reading style. You get three books there, and each one has sample chapters to the next book in the series so you can keep rolling if you like you what you see. You also get two of those three books as professionally produced audiobooks, which really help to bring the worlds to life.

Alternately, since you specified Mr. Adams, I would either go with "Startliner" from the Intergalactic Investigation Bureau series or with "The SSMC Reluctant" from the Platoon F series. Note, though, that Platoon F is intended to be very racy and politically-incorrect in nature, so if that's not your thing, you may want to steer clear of that series. haha :)

Here are the links for you:

The SSMC Reluctant: http://www.johnplogsdon.com/l/67

I hope that helps and I thank you for your question! :D

John P. Logsdon LOL ... funny how it requires a ? to post. I guess it's forcing a question. :D

Thank you for the well-wishes. Since the Queen Arthur books are really novellas, I wanted to do a 99p special for the weekend of launch. Hope you enjoy it!
John P. Logsdon Hi Carole,

You have AMAZING timing! The second book in the series launches *this* Friday (3rd of June). The third book won't be until later in the year as I'm working on an Ononokin book next.

Thank you very much for the question. :)

John P. Logsdon My wife does it. No point in spending $20 for the meagerness of cranial foliage that tops my noggin'!
John P. Logsdon My most recent book is "Bob the Zombie" and it's based in the fantasy land of Ononokin. As with most of my Ononokin books, this story came about because I like to go against the generally accepted norms of fantasy characters. For example, my Vampires aren't all hot and sexy...some are bald, depressed, down on their luck, boring, etc. (Check out "The Full Moon Event" [previously called "The Journey Home"] to see what I'm talking about there.

Well, Bob is just your run of the mill guy that underwent the Vampire bite in order to get long life, but it turned out that he had antibodies that fought the Vampire virus (Vampirism) and, though rare, it turned Bob into a Zombie. That's how *all* Zombies become Zombies, by the way.

So now Bob is just going through "life" until one day a thief steals his hand because she wants to clear here name with the Thieves Union for past transgressions. Zombie flesh, when mixed with the proper ingredients and melted down in the proper lava pit from Flaymtahk Island, can be used to create all forms of medication. Well, she tries to make Elfagra (think Viagra) in the hopes that it'll turn into a massive amount of $$$ for the Union, thus taking the bounty off her head.

That's the gist of it.
John P. Logsdon It's really hard not to be inspired when you're doing something you love, but I would have to say that when someone "gets" what I'm doing and they write to me to say that...that jazzes me and makes me want to do more.

I'd do it either way, but it is cool to know that there are kindred spirits out there that are just as wacky-minded as I am. :)
John P. Logsdon I'm taking a break from comedic SciFi and Fantasy to work on a couple of serious SciFi series. Both of which are futuristic, space-based dealios that explore assassinations and military situations.
John P. Logsdon Write every day. Grab a book by your favorite author and start typing in the first few pages of their book so you can get a feel for pacing, dialog markers, etc. Then close the book but keep on writing using your own creative vision.

No, you can't publish this book because that would be wrong, but it will help you start to understand how to write more effectively.
John P. Logsdon The creative process. I love meeting new characters, coming up with story ideas (both serious and wacky), and letting things run their course.
John P. Logsdon I've fortunately never had this problem, but I think it's to do with me getting out of the way of my characters and letting them tell the story. If *I'm* telling their story I'll probably run into "now what?" situations. Fortunately, though, my characters seem incapable of shutting up about themselves. :)
