Can you tell us a two-sentence horror story?
Mageela Troche She opened her eyes, rubbing away the sleep blurring her sight. When she looked around her, she saw all the books in the world disappeared and no one remembered that they once existed.

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
Mageela Troche I would love to be in the Regency era. Either one of Sarah MacLean's world or Lisa Kleypas or Julia Quinn, Eloisa James. But It has to be a Regency.

What books are on your summer reading list this year?
Mageela Troche I don't really have a list but my TBR pile is huge. I rather buy books than shoes or clothes. So, I'm always looking out for something good that is making the mood I am in or the mood I want to feel in my life.

I recently discovered you from your new book The Marriage Alliance. When I looked on Amazon UK there are no other titles available, do you plan on re-releasing some titles or are they gone for good? Many thanks, I really loved the book.

Mageela Troche Thank you, Elizabeth for the warm welcome. I will certainly join in. Highlanders are hot! Have you seen Outlander? I hope you pick up one. And if you read any of mine, I thank you. I have great fun writing them. It's the only way to time-travel these days.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Mageela Troche Bang my head against my computer. I have actually done that. Crazy I know. It didn't help either. I usually step away because its the stress I have put upon myself that creates writer's block. So I do something, anything to stop thinking about it and the answer comes to me.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Mageela Troche For me, writing allows me travel into different time periods, people and experiences. It is the best travel a person can do. And it really helps me look at the world differently.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Mageela Troche Always respect your writing. If it's not that great (I have one that shall never be seen) you have learned something. Respect the time and place you write so people in your lives will learn it too.

What are you currently working on?
Mageela Troche I am currently working on my fourth book. Lachlan and Rowen, who are introduced in my debut novel The Marriage Alliance.

How do you get inspired to write?
Mageela Troche Reading really inspires me. I love doing research, memoirs and sometimes just reading other books, magazines even tv shows. Sometimes, it can be something that someone said.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Mageela Troche This may seem weird but I got the idea from watching Green Bay Packers playing a game. I must admit I lust for Clay Matthews, number 52 on the Packers. He is like a Norse god. His long blond hair peeks out from his helmet. It just drives me crazy. Well, Caelen's story Claiming The Highlander, started thanks to Clay.
