Roxie, the main character in Heiress to the Flame, first made her appearance in my 2014 release, "Rescued" as a cocky, know-it-all teen. She finds herself in a life and death situation and accepts help from a team of PI's investigating foundation offering to make all her dreams come true. She is rescued in the nick of time and moves her life in the right direction with the help of the team.
A happy ending for the main characters in "Rescued" extended to Roxie as well. However, she remained alive in the back of my mind and reminded me often that she had a story of her own and wanted it told.
She had been introduced to the supernatural world of shifters but later discovers she has a sleeping supernatural side of her own and "Heiress to the Flame" came to life.
