My most recent book was a companion book to my third and fourth so I sort of wrote the story in my head, back when I wrote those, I just didn't think at the time that I would get the words down and out there.

Write for yourself. Write and write and write and when the words don't come, read and read and read. It'll help you work out what kind of writer you do or don't want to be.
When you're ready to put your work out there, grow a thick skin and prepare for the trolls. Either roll with the comments or ignore. It's hard not to take it personally but try. If the criticism is constructive, take it on board and learn from it.

Being able to stay in my jarmies for days on end and interacting with my readers. I could talk books all day if I had the time.

I've never really had it. I have the opposite problem, the voices just never shut up. I struggled a little this year after the death of my brother but I wouldn't really describe that as writers block. What I did in that time was put my lap top away and went on a reading binge.

Thank you. You'll get the letters next year but for now I'll be taking a break from the Carnage Crew. They've consumed my life for the past two and a half years and I have other voices shouting in my head, that need to be heard.
