Tony LaRocca While I had always considered joining the armed forces while in High School, I probably never would have done it if a recruiter hadn't called me. I assumed they just went through the roster of upcoming graduates, but I later found out that they had gotten my name and phone number from a recruiting kiosk at the mall, even though I had never given it to them.

In short, I joined the army because some unknown person pranked me.

Perhaps there's a story in that, about someone whose major life decisions are all the results of practical jokes. Then again, maybe that's a good summation of life in general.
Tony LaRocca When I was young, a friend of mine lost her son to illness. It stuck with me over the years. Also, I've always been fascinated by the idea of exploring dreams and bringing imagination to life.
