Brittney Joy Hi Morganne ~ I do plan to write a third book in the series, but I just haven't figured out where I want the plot to go just yet! Stay tuned! :)

Brittney Joy Currently, I am working on the third book for my YA fantasy series, The OverRuled Series, and I cannot wait to share the conclusion of this story with you!

This series is set in a medieval-inspired world which is ruled by magic. OverRuled is told in dual perspective, rotating between two female characters who are discovering their talents -- and who are also connected by a royal guard (Chael -- who is full of secrets...). And, I couldn't write a story without including horses -- Nova's character has a "special" connection to animals and there are plenty of horse/riding scenes. :)

Happy Trails!

Brittney Joy Being able to whisk yourself away into a fantasy world...and play in it.
Brittney Joy I've found that the best way to deal with writer's block is to do something physical. I go for a walk, go for a ride, brush my horses, or do anything that gets my mind off my writing. When I'm not "forcing" myself to come up with ideas, ideas tend to come to me.
Brittney Joy Just do it - sit down at the computer, with a notebook, write on the back of a receipt if that's what it takes! I've wanted to write a novel since I was in high school, but didn't take the time to start my first story until I quit a job I was unhappy in. Until my break from corporate life, I felt like I didn't have the time to write a book. Now I know you just need to make time -- a half hour here ... a couple hours there. It all adds up! Plus, if you take the time daily to write (whether it is ten minutes or a few hours), you story stays in your subconscious. You think about it all the time. That's when the really good ideas come -- when you are taking a shower, walking the dog, washing dishes, etc, etc. Ideas will "pop" into your head!

P.S. - I'm back working full time in the corporate world ... and (surprise!) I still have time to write! Writing has now become a release for me.
