I am writing the sequel now. The Godless (working title) will take the reader out into the Nine Lands and uncover more of the mysteries of the Forgefather.

To be perfectly honest, at this stage I'm not sure. If you've ever seen the film "The Matrix" you'll understand. That film stood perfectly well on its own, even though it could just as easily lead into sequels. Faithless is much the same. I have a couple of other projects I need to see through first and then I'll take stock. Thanks so much for preordering and I hope you enjoy it.

I do get ideas at the worst times, it's something you just have to deal with. Oddly it's one of the techniques I use if I get stuck, go for a walk and talk it out. I really am that weird guy walking along, talking to himself about faeries. Generally I rush home and go straight to the computer, typing out the rough ideas before they are lost. I've tried recording them onto my phone, but then I usually forget they are there. It's a tough one and I'm sure I've lost more than I've remembered.

Read, read, then read some more. Read everything. Read even if you hate the book, just take note of what it is makes you hate it. Also write every day. It's not about quantity, or even quality especially, you can always go back and polish it or rewrite it. It's about training your brain.

When people email me or leave a review and I can tell they enjoyed my book.

The block I get is usually just about how to move the story forward, onto the next section. I'll know where we're going just not quite how to get. My solution is I talk to myself. It would be a lot more convenient if it worked when I was home but it usually requires me to go for a walk too. I am that crazy person walking around chatting away to themselves.
