Martin Landry I am rereading Perdido Street Station for the dozenth time or so.
Martin Landry There are too many to list, but one that comes to mind was when I delivered beer to the local motorcycle club and noticed that there were a lot more people than usual and that everyone there was quite tense. They paid me for the delivery and I left, and I found out later that I had walked in on an RCMP bust which had resulted in all the MC members present that morning getting arrested.

Martin Landry I would probably have to say Dirk Pitt and Senator Loren Smith. They have a dynamic that appeals to me, and I appreciate how well they know and understand each other. I believe a relationship needs to be built upon mutual respect, and acceptance of the other for who they are. Loren and Dirk certainly have this going for them!

Martin Landry The Kentauride is a series based on a short story I wrote as an exercise for a technical writing course a long time ago. The idea came from an article in a magazine about a university project to recreate a woolly mammoth from an elephant and a DNA sample recovered in a frozen specimen.
