Just read your article How to make use of Goodreads and you mentioned wanting a question. What did you have for tea? Given it's 1:35 PM here, you might still be eating. Great article, by the way. My own book, releasing on 14 July, got a 1 star rating. Were fairies involved, hehe? You’re living in my dream location, reminds me of the TV series "North and South", which I'll have to view again. Helena Fairfax Thanks for checking out my post on Goodreads, Luanna, and thanks so much for your great question! The north of England is a lovely place to live. I live in Yorkshire, home of the Bronte sisters, and North and South was set in Lancashire, to the west of us (and our great rivals :) ) North and South is one of my favourite books - and as for Richard Armitage in the TV series...the perfect hero!!
And regarding your question - what did I have for my tea? Today, by coincidence, I'm making Lancashire Hot Pot - a casserole with lamb and potatoes. Thanks for asking!

What are you currently working on?
Helena Fairfax I'm working on a contemporary romance set in a hotel in the Lake District, in the north of England. I had great fun researching. My hero is a diver, and I enlisted the help of some of the divers from Penrith Divers' Club. We went on an outing to Lake Ullswater, where they performed a dive, and we were all interviewed by the local press. It was great fun, and I learned so much. I came away with so much admiration for the divers.
I hope to finish the manuscript by the end of Feb...so back to work now!
