Rolland and Jake from the Dark Tower series. They are tow people, who I see as the same person born at different times and in different worlds. I see their relationship as one that is needed by both of them and it benefits them both. It's sweet an endearing and shows that Rolland can be kind when needed.

The Kings of Ruin was a screenplay that I wrote many years ago. When I decided to turn it into a novel, I changed the title and the time period. I see The Kings of Braxton as something that I have been working on and perfecting for nearly ten years.
