Hi Lexi,
Yes, there is going to be a sequel. I had hoped to have it out sooner, but have had to make changes. I am so glad you enjoyed it. Another book I have recently completed, My Name is Nissa, will undoubtedly be coming out before Return of the Realm, however.

In My Name is Nissa, it is a what-if situation that has inspired me. Extraordinary circumstances turn the uncomplicated lives of a young couple, Lily and Peter Warren, upside down.
In Secrets of the Realm, it was Annie and my family that inspired me. I wrote the story for them.

Write because of your love of writing, not because you have hopes of becoming rich. Push yourself to write everyday. Keep writing your story to its conclusion. You can do research, edit, and fill in the blanks after the main story is completed. If something doesn't seem to fit in your story, save it. Don't delete it. It might work in another part of your story, or in another story altogether.

The concept of Secrets of the Realm came from the character of Annie Moore, who was always in the recesses of my mind. When I began writing her story, I had no doubt she was an eighteenth century English girl. Her adventures, as well as the friendships she made along the way, just fell into place.
