J.B. Bernstein I think the best thing about being a writer is the ability to move people beyond your immediate reach. It is so gratifying to get a note from a reader who was inspired or helped by something I have written.
J.B. Bernstein As a new author myself, I'm more in the taking advice mode. That being said, I can tell aspiring writers this much. The most difficult thing I ever did was write a book. If you want to be an author, your manuscript has to be something you are literally desperate to share with others... Something that you believe will have a positive impact on others' lives. It is just too easy to shelf a project along the rocky road to publication if the material is not close to your heart.
J.B. Bernstein I am currently working on my second book titled - Hey, Where's My Big Idea. It is a book that outlines my system for idea generation intertwined with great case studies from career. So many books offer a system for turning ideas into businesses, but mine is one of the first that really outlines the process for coming up with these ideas!
J.B. Bernstein Everyone is different, so there are many tricks to break through writers block. That being said, I think the cause of writers block is the same for everyone... Having Too Much On Your Mind!

What I like to do is meditate. It helps clear the noise out of my mind and shut down all the conflicting trains of thought. I find that when I come out of the meditative state, I am now able to focus and begin writing again.
J.B. Bernstein Neither are easy. I think they both have the same challenges. I was way outside my comfort zone on both, but that is how we grow as people, so I am grateful to have had both experiences.
J.B. Bernstein Yes i do. They have become like family to me, and I try to speak with them both on a regular basis. I owe them both so much. I don't know if they realize what great gifts they have given me in life.
J.B. Bernstein I don't know if it has changed our approach, but it certainly opened up our eyes to how much untapped talent there is out there in the world.
J.B. Bernstein I think we would like to stay in India, but I do think we could run a contest to find a football player or maybe even a MMA fighter.
J.B. Bernstein There is no way to underestimate how much these guys changed my life. Before the contest, I was a serial bachelor that only cared about the deal. Rinku and Dinesh opened me up to family life... They reminded of what it was like to take pride in someone else success.. The made me realize that it is never too late to take the chance to be a better person.
J.B. Bernstein I spent a lot of time with the writer, director and producers before filming, so they all had a pretty solid idea of how they wanted to Jon to play me in the film. Disney was gracious enough to have us on set, but once filming started we pretty much left it to the experts. Being on set was weird... See these scenes of my life acted out by other was very surreal. In the end we are very proud of how the movie and book came out.
