Dorothy F. Shaw Hi Christine! Yes, I’m actually finishing the 3rd book right now. It’s Jeff and Tish’s book. 🤓

I don’t have a release date from the publisher yet, but I am hoping it’s released shortly after the new year.

Thanks for asking!
Dorothy F. Shaw Hold your breath. Its right behind you.
Dorothy F. Shaw I would go to Caldwell NY and hang out with the Black Dagger Brotherhood for as long as I possibly could. For real. Hands down.
Dorothy F. Shaw Molly, I swear I saw this question come through email and then could not find it on my Goodreads profile! Ugh, I am so sorry for replying so late. Book 2 in the Arizona K9 series will be out in Sept. It's called Redeeming the Badge.
Its already up for pre-order on Amazon, but no cover yet! =) So glad you're enjoying book 1!
Dorothy F. Shaw Ugh, I wish I had time for a summer reading list. Right now, I'm writing...so no time for reading. But! If something from one of my fav authors comes out, I will be fitting in time somewhere, somehow, to read. =)
Dorothy F. Shaw Ooohhhh!!! Now that's a straight up personal question! lol I like it.

Well, there is one experience in particular that I would never dare to mention here, much less write about. But it would make for ONE HELL OF A STORY!

Aside from that, I'm an extrovert who grew up in a dysfunctional home. That pretty much means I have a penchant for attracting drama. So...not really a mystery, per se but I could pick any event over my lifetime and make it a plot for a book.

The fact that my ex-best friend is now married to my ex-husband is a good one right there.
Ps: That would be the reason she's now my EX best friend. Sad but true.

Thanks!
Dorothy F. Shaw Ooh! This is such a hard question! I have the hardest time nailing down favorites, so, I will list a few of my favorite couples instead. Because I also have a hard time following rules! lol

Vishous and Jane - From JR Ward's "Lover Unbound" - The Black Dagger Brotherhood series.
Vishous is, well what can I say about Vishous? He's unbelievably complex. So broken, so rock solid on the outside and utterly lonely and tortured on the inside. And Jane, she's just perfect for him. Unlike anyone he's ever even sought out before. She makes things clear for him and he brings her to life. I guess they bring each other to life, really.

Lothaire and Ellie - From Kresley Cole's "Lothaire" - The Immortals After Dark series.
Lothaire is so freaking screwed up. He's not a good guy, in fact, he's an enemy of everything good in the world of these books. But Ellie? She right sizes him, if you will. She brings out his black heart and teaches him how to love. And doesn't take any of his crap. They're amazing.

Deacon and Cassidy - From Kristen Ashley's "Deacon" The Unfinished Heroes Series
Deacon and Cassidy are pure fireworks together. This story moved me to my bones. He's dark, scary and of course broken. And she's strong, and smart and wants the world. She's so strong that when he betrays her, or she feels he betrayed her, she turns her back on him. Deacon, like every amazing romance hero, gets himself together and goes back for her. Pure love. And completely tear-worthy!

So there you go!
Dorothy F. Shaw I can't even begin to answer this...there is no one thing. There are several things, but mostly, I write because I NEED to. I have to. It's a driving force inside of me, and I can't imagine not doing it.
Dorothy F. Shaw Life...music...all things around me inspire me. The good news is, life is full of things to think about and then write about.
Dorothy F. Shaw I'm working on the 3rd book my series, The Donnellys. The first novel for this series comes out on May 5th 2015.
Dorothy F. Shaw Finish the book. Finish at least one thing you've started. And then once you do, finish the next thing...and so on. Starting is awesome, but finishing is even better. =)
Dorothy F. Shaw I haven't experienced writers block until recently. I'm at a loss for my next book in my series, but it could be because I am in the middle of working on the current book. My plan is to see what happens once I get done with my current WIP. If I'm still stuck, I'll reach out to other authors to talk it through. Its what I do when I get stuck on a particular point in a book, or scene. It always helps to just talk things through...and always, I keep writing and worry about if it makes sense late. That's what edits are for. =)
