When I encounter writer's block, I usually will stop writing and do something that will help clear my mind, for example, read a book, watch TV, or listen to music. Music is an important element to when I write, so it helps me think of ideas to use for a particular character or storyline.

The advice I would give for aspiring writers is to never give up on your dreams. Also, have fun and enjoy doing it. With writing, there can be a lot of pressure to have a certain standard with writing style, characters, storylines, etc. You have to have thick skin and to do what's best for you.

I finished writing Unconditional Love, which is the third book in the Love, Life, & Happiness series. This is Britney and Jayden's story, which is really sweet and will make you think about your first love (I know it did for me).
I'm also in the process of writing The Way We Were, which is the fourth book in the series and is Monica and Donnell's story. Their story will be a little different from the previous three because the main characters are involved with other people; so it will be very interesting to see how things will work out between the two and if they will give things between them another try or remain with their current relationships.

My recent book is The Wedding Part II, which is Tia and Charles' story from the In Love With My Best Friend series. I wanted to do something special for both couples in the series, that's why I had them get married in the third and fourth book. I think both book are very special and shows how each couples' relationships has progressed.
With The Wedding Part II, readers know what Tia and Charles encountered in A Chance at Love, so it's refreshing to see how much they have grown as individuals as well as a couple.

Majority of time my inspiration is from personal experiences or an idea that may have popped into my mind. I have a vivid imagination, so anything is possible for a good story line.

The best thing about being a writer is that I'm able to create wonderful characters that are relatable to readers. That's the great thing about books is that you are able to connect with characters and go through situations that they are facing. That's something I hope readers would take from each of my books.
