It is a passion. I am 66 years old and have been writing all my life. I just never attempted anything like this until I retired and had the time. Seeing my book published was a lifetime goal for me. I love it and cannot stop.

Get a simple wire bound notebook; probably several. Start writing "random thoughts" and when you put them on your computer arrange them in proper order. the process took a year for me to finish just the first book. Afterwards the organization and strategy processes became more natural. Never stop learning and studying. Even with fiction you must do research on your material to be credible as a writer.

I am writing five books in total. Four are science fiction and one is non fiction also coming out this coming summer. "How to Repossess the Government and why We Must" is my solution to the loss of control the American People have experienced from their government. One is a stand alone sci-fi book and the others are the trilogy starting with Hiumandroids."

To some people it is a natural element of life. To others it became a way to express ideas, feelings and emotions of people in remarkable situations. For me it was some of both. A lot of good story lines put regular people in unimaginable conditions. We learn a lot about our race and ourselves by such situations.

I got the inspiration from watching my family members and wounded warriors from several wars suffer and die vulnerable and helpless. So I gave my main characters new bodies and new lives continuing from their old age or mangled situation as veterans. I could not save my friends and loved ones but I could and did save my characters. I gave them greatly enhanced abilities and bodies that would live hundreds of years. This was to be able to fight advanced evil aliens intent on destroying Earth and humanity.
