Yes and now. The name Brendan Tobey is based on my friends Brendan McGinley and Matt Tobey. Tobey is a little like Tobey, but it's also based on my impression of what the guy from the old WWTD blog would be in real life.
Oz is not based on a real woman except to say in the early days of Facebook, I met an australian women who told me she did let men watch her shower for money online. Of course, Oz changes during the book so that's also hard to answer.

I've never had it. I've struggled to write certain things, but that's not a block. It just means I don't know the subject intimately enough yet. If you put a gun to my head, I'd write SOMETHING. What people call blocks are just their fear to write garbage. I suggest writing the garbage, seeing why it's garbage and fixing it.
