My life, unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), isn't that mysterious. Mostly cases of disappearing socks and dishes mysteriously washing themselves with no one owning up to who did it.
But there is a mystery among my family that could be a good plot for a book.
Both my late grandfather and great uncle, independent of each other, witnessed the same strange man in the guest room of the family farm. It was only years later that they both told each other the story and independently described the man the same way.
I'm not a big believer in the supernatural, but this is a ghost mystery that could make a great story.

Apologies for the late reply. Goodreads doesn't notify me of these questions and they're hidden on quite a weird part of the site.
The existence of the Abrahamic God is neither confirmed nor denied in the series. While the Seraphim do not have evidence of a God, some worship one and some don't. Like humans.
But there may be a God, just with adjustments to make up for the existence of the In Between and the Realms.
It is a part of the universe I'm leaving up to reader interpretation.

Probably my Warpmancer or Cataclysm universes. Reason being that I created the universes, so I know everything and can act as a reliable prophet-emperor.

The advised reading order is:
1) Shadow
2) Trooper
3) Captain
4) Rise
5) Defiant
6) Godkiller
7) Outcast of Empire
8) Daughter of mars
9) Conquest
The short stories can be read at any time. Chronologically, Gangs of Galis is set right before book 1 and Shipborn right before book 4.
Hive Mind is set decades before, but can be read at any time. Same goes for Endbreach.

Besides reading through drafts of my own books, and the multitude of books required for my courses, I plan to read through "Why Nations Fail".
