Hi Andrea, I'm asking this question of several writers, some friends, some strangers... Do you define success for yourself? Or does the culture define it for you? How do you integrate your internal idea of success with the external consensus, and operate accordingly? Thanks.
Andrea Barbosa Success is when a reader reads your book from beginning to end. It doesn't matter if the end result from a review will be 1 or 5 stars. As long as the book was read in its entirety, I consider it a great accomplishment, a success. When readers are curious enough and your writing picks up their attention, you're a successful writer.
