L.E. Maguire This is a prime example of how just a picture can spark a story. I saw a photo of the beautiful David Gandy and I got to thinking. What would happen if a model and a photographer started a relationship? How would they be able to maintain it when they are both getting pulled in different directions? Could they work through the challenges their jobs would present? And that's how Picture Perfect came to be.
L.E. Maguire The simplest things can inspire me; a song, a picture, a walk through my local park. Recently, I took my daughter to a heavy metal concert, and during the concert I'm taking notes on my iPhone because ideas are coming to me. Actually, that was how Unthinkable (A Dark Tendencies Novel) came to be.
L.E. Maguire I can write anywhere at anytime, which is good because my writer's brain never stops. I'm constantly thinking about new ideas or the current projects I'm working on. And after years of working in an office, I like the freedom of being able to write anywhere, especially my local Starbucks. ;)
L.E. Maguire I have a few different ways to deal with writer's block. I work on coloring mandalas or I have a table set up in my home office with a puzzle laid out. I find working on mindless things that like usually sparks creativity. Other times, I find just reading or listening to music can do the trick.
