Just do it. Getting words on paper is the only step to getting started. The longer a story stays trapped in your head, the more likely it becomes an "I wish I had..." in the future. Remember: done is better than perfect on a first draft. Don’t get bogged down in rigid rules or guidebooks. Write the story you desperately want to read, and make it uniquely yours.

I actually plotted the entire series backward, starting at the final climax and working my way to the beginning. Every mystery, subtle clue, and unanswered question in The Price of Silence already has a definitive, planned payoff locked in.

Inspiration strikes from unexpected places! For this series, a major spark came from watching Graham Hancock’s Ancient Apocalypse. It made me obsess over history, forgotten lore, and the incredible stories that emerge when you take ancient mysteries, embellish them, and weave them into an epic fantasy setting. Combining that historical curiosity with my favorite fantasy tropes made building the world laid out before you an absolute blast.
