The Ignited Series and the standalone What Comes Next - yes! Definitely. They are all young adult books.
The Apocalypse Assassins series, however, has much more violence, vulgar language, and graphic sex. I read stuff like it when I was 16, however, I feel that it is for a mature audience and officially must suggest 18 or older. Hope this helps!

Yes, it will be. I don't have an exact date yet, but it's been in production for about a month now so I'm expecting it to be finished soon.

The characters!
I've always liked to write and ideas come to me all the time. Many times they fizzle out before a story line really gets flushed out. With Ignited, the characters got in my head...and they would not shut up until I wrote their story. Its still being written of course, but that first book was written like I was a mad woman, and it was because of them. They were persistent in wanting their story told, and for others to share their experiences. As much fun as I had getting to know them, I was excited for others to get to know them as well.

Simple. Just write. It doesn't matter how much, or even how good it is. You will get better, and faster, and it will get easier the more you do it. Eventually, everything will fall into place. Never give up. Accept criticism, but don't let it get you down. Use it to become a better writer.

I had initially planned for the release of Salvaged Soul to be...well, around now. Unfortunately, that is not going to happen because, fortunately, shortly after the release of Sacrificed I discovered I was pregnant with twins! Due to the extra complications and testing throughout the pregnancy, I wasn't able to keep up with my writing as needed to complete Salvaged Soul. My boys are now here, and healthy as could be. But life with twins is needless to say TIME CONSUMING! I'm on a sort of maternity leave for the time being, but plan to dive right back into Salvaged Soul once I start getting some sleep. :) I'll keep updates on my facebook page and website (www.desnidantone.com)

Put away what I'm working on for a few days, read a book or two to get the creative juices flowing again. I wait patiently, don't force it, and find that the writer's block will lift on its own.
