Dreams are a major motivator in the beginnings of a book. I also am a firm believer in the shower principle. I write when I feel it and I don't force it. Every time I do, it's crap.

Being the sequel to The Crossing, I had a lot of rules already set up. The concepts behind it were based on an old short story I wrote in college. It's basically an extension of that idea.

I rarely have this issue, or rather, I have plenty to write but sometimes the words aren't going the way I want them to be. Honestly, I very rarely have the time to write what I want to.
