Hi, Carri! Country Bliss is a sequel novella to Country Heaven and it will not be out for a little bit due to another story I am working on that has a deadline. Thank you for asking. I'm excited to get started writing Country Bliss.

My most recent book, The Loss, will be published on October 20, 2014. The idea for this story just came to me, not sure how. :) Sometimes that just happens.
But, when my amazing cover designer finished the cover, with Shawn Dawson on the cover, an idea hit me to put in the story due what she did with the background of the cover. I played it into the story and it was perfect!

Pictures and music. For example: Shawn Dawson is on the cover of my book that will be published October 20, 2014. (Preorder is up) :)
I have dual monitors and I keep the most current book I'm writing on, on my desktop so I can look at it on the second monitor as I write.
Country Heaven will have Justin Keeton on the cover. Same thing.
I don't listen to music as I write, too distracting for me, however, when I hear a song, alot of times it inspires a story. Example: Touched. I heard Dark Horse by Katy Perry on the radio and the story for Touched hit me like a sledge hammer. :)

Hmmmm. Well, currently, I'm writing on about 3 new series. :) I know! The first book in a new series is with my Editor, The Loss. I'm also working on the first in a new series, Country Heaven and then another first in another series, Sacrifice For Love, for my publisher. I'm juggling but I write on the one that calls to me more and then as I finish I see which one calls to me next.

Keep writing. Interact with your reader's every day. Don't get discourage. We all do sometimes but the best thing is to keep writing, keep getting your stories out there. You're writing will improve as you keep writing.

So many 'best things' about being a writer. Like reading, my characters and the story flow in my head and I'm taken away just as if I was reading a book but, I'm writing it. Meeting and knowing all the amazing Authors out there, some becoming friends, is so great! The readers. I love talking with them, seeing them at signing's I'm attending. Such a humbling and great feeling when I meet them. I wouldn't give it up for the world.

Luckily, I've not had much of that, yet, but I know that can happen. Sometimes when I'm a little stuck as to where the story is going next, I step away for a bit, spend time with my family or maybe take a nap. My characters seem to invade my mind when I relax and try to go to sleep whether it be trying to take a nap or going to bed for the night. Many times they will give me a plot twist or tell me a big place the story will go. Then when I get up, I have things I need to write down and start writing again.
