I started out trying to write a collection of miracle stories. I interviewed about 20 people and wrote their stories. But somehow I wasn't doing the stories justice with my words. So I shelved that and started free writing and Chasing God is the result. I still want to finish that miracles book when the time is right.

Being relaxed always helps. I'll take a long walk, write in my journal, etc.

Right now a lot of my time is focused on book promotion and the freelance work I do for magazines. I'm also ruminating on what I might write about for book #2!

Honestly, this rarely happens. I think if a writer is blocked, it's for a reason, and often that reason is fear. If I'm having trouble focusing or getting words on paper, I write a paragraph (as if I'm talking to myself) about what I should write about and that seems to help.

I love writing. I can get lost in it, and there's no better feeling than that.
