Mona Mae Never give up. All writers go through writer's block, and a lot of the time, you just want to quit. But keep perservering, and always remind yourself of the reason why you started writing. It wasn't for the fame and fortune, but because of the passion within you.
Mona Mae My favourite fictional couple is probably (but not limited to - I have tons of fave couples) Jane Eyre and Edward Rochester. I loved the book, because of the fact that Jane was so independent for a woman of her time, and that even though Mr Rochester was far older than she was, she wasn't a submissive female lead. Their relationship was one of mutual love, and showed a deeper sort of love that most stories seem to overlook.
Mona Mae The best thing for me as a writer, is being able to create worlds, towns and most importantly, characters that can be anything that I want them to be. It's like playing Sims, only with words.
Mona Mae Writer's block is a pain, but I don't know any writer who hasn't suffered through the dreaded struggle. To get through writer's block, I turn to reading. When I read stories by my favourite authors-be it their old or newer works-I'm always reminded of what I enjoy as a reader. And so, I'm able to take reading for enjoyment, and turn that into inspiration for my own novels.
