Miller My current novel in progress, Heliotrope is set in a small cloistered Northern California college town in the mid 1970s when SNL was the hip new underground TV show and no one could have imagined cell phones or the Internet. Protagonist Kit, a twenty-two-year-old idealist and college senior becomes disillusioned with her idol setting in motion a regrettable destructive act she fears she can never un-do.
