What are you currently working on?
M. Homer Last year we flew for over 30hrs to get to our holiday destination.
This got me thinking, what if you meet someone on a plane who completely changes everything?
The book is about a young girl flying to see her father whom she hasn't seen for years. On the first plane there, she meets free spirited Toby who annoys but fascinates her. They fly to Melbourne and then onto Dubai together and in this time get to know one another. Toby decides that he's not ready to say goodbye in Dubai, so after talking to Aria, he goes with her to meet her dying father.

This is a love story that transcends distance and shows how two people who take a chance can find love.

How do you get inspired to write?
M. Homer I get an idea in my head and just go with it. Usually the characters take on their own uniqueness as the story unfolds and I feel completely swept up in them until the whole story's been written.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
M. Homer I love reading about events that have the potential to change the course of someone's life. So I wanted to create a book that deals with some pretty awful things that could have the power to destroy and instead show that we have the ability to overcome anything.
