Will there be a third Monument book? If so when? Absolutely loved the first in the series, it was like reading an awesome action packed movie! I could totally see that being a huge hit on the big screen!!
Michael C. Grumley Thank you, Natasha. I'm so glad you liked it. Yes, I do plan to return to the Monument story after I've gotten a few books out of my new ROLLBACK series.

When can we expect the final installment of The Monument trilogy? I've just finished "The Desert of Glass" and I find myself wanting for more!

I’m looking for a series I read a number of years ago. There was strong AI, and aliens who had evolved parallel as humans. It was stated that the human form always results from carbon based evolution. Was this your breakthrough series?
Michael C. Grumley Hi, Mance. Yes it was. However, the statement was that the human form "always" results from carbon based evolution, but instead that it was a more common outcome that some might expect. Not humans exactly, but the overall balance to two legs and two arms for mobility, opposable thumbs with higher level dexterity, and increasingly larger brains.

Is Echo the final book in the Breakthrough series? I loved it, but still want more of course.

Michael C. Grumley It certainly can, Chris, but you will find it to be a much richer story if you read it in order.

I started with Mosiac and soon realized I’d missed 4 other books. It hooked me. I am curious to know how and why you used Trinidad and Tobago as a setting. Being born there I was delighted to see it mentioned in fiction print. What was your inspiration? Love your style of writing, found your books so well researched that it prompted me to do some research of my own.
Michael C. Grumley I've always loved the Caribbean, which is where much of the Breakthrough story takes place. And Trinidad and Tabago were perfect locations for that particular part of the story.

Will there be a book 7?
Michael C. Grumley This is a question I got often and there will most likely be a book seven, although I'm not sure exactly when yet. But I have an AMAZING ending in mind. ;)

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?
Michael C. Grumley Hmm. That's a good question. Maybe something having to do with hitchhiking to Los Angeles with my brother when I was sixteen.

? Just a short note for Mr. Grumley, I have read almost all of your books on my Kindle Fire free of charge. When I saw that you were a self-published author, I went back and purchased each of the books. I thought for a person of your imagination and writing ability, it was the least that I could do! Publishers are doing a great disservice to us readers. Thank you for hours of enjoyment! Hope for many more!

Will Mosaic be on Audible? I see it's on audiobooks.com and really don't want to buy another audio book membership but I would for Mosaic. Listening to Ripple right now and LOVE this series!!! Glad I have an hour+ drive each way to/from work, lots of time to enjoy these. Thanks and great job!!
