If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
Barbara Boudreau I dreamt of an Utopia in Bolivia with an entrance in a mountain rift when I was a kid and always wanted to run away to that place. Maybe it was some of my first writing!

Barbara Boudreau Life inspires me.

Barbara Boudreau Write just anything and free your mind. You can't let the block bother you. Just flow over it.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Barbara Boudreau Work hard. Write a lot. Read a lot, and be patient. You can't rush this. It's just too difficult to rush.

What are you currently working on?
Barbara Boudreau I am reworking the sequel to The Frenchman. It is done, but needs some massaging. Frenchman fans will love it.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Barbara Boudreau The first scene came in a dream - after that, I just had to keep telling the story.
