Heathcliff and Catherine from Wuthering Heights. Their relationship is so complex that I don't think it can be defined as love, but perhaps something more, something greater. There's revenge mixed with hatred mixed with self loathing mixed with a love so great that the only thing which resolves the way they feel about each other, or rather their relationship is death. It doesn't get any more complex than that. Every time I read Wuthering Heights I find something I'd missed before.
