I've just finished setting, and am in the middle of promoting, a work I completed back in 1998. I've always thought it was good but it never quite got off its mark. But never give up. It's now an ebook, and called 'Cars, Hills and Pork Scratchings - A Tour Of England.' It's a travel book very much in the Bill Bryson mould, and I hope you enjoy it.

Everything around me inspires me, from the great outdoors to people in the street. For example, I was in Dunbar a few years ago and overheard a conversation in the street:
'Jimmy, ur ye comin'?'
'Naw, it's chist the way ah'm standin'.'
How could you NOT get inspired by that?
