Mike Lee The more you write, the more ideas you will get. Writers block will not be a problem if you do what Ernest Hemingway suggested about getting up each day and writing, writing, writing. That is what editing is for.
Mike Lee Keep writing and don't quit. You can have a best seller and not even know it. Keep studying writing and don't be afraid to try a different approach. I had no idea that I was going to write Science Fiction. I tried murder mysteries and poetry first.
Mike Lee I am working on another novel called The Penal Colony. Without giving the whole plot away, I'll just say that you won't be bored reading it. If I can
keep you interested, I'd rather not even start.
Mike Lee That is a good question. Usually as I am falling asleep I come up with some idea and I get up and write it down. It seldom comes when I am trying to think of something. Still Hemingway said the best way to get an idea is to write and write and write. Even it it is junk, keep writing, you can always edit it later. Thanks for the question.
