Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Susan Reinhardt From my son and his struggles. And from my former work as a makeup artist.

What are you currently working on?

Susan Reinhardt A rom/com about a woman who gets a big trust fund when she turns 40. But with conditions she may not be able to tolerate.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Susan Reinhardt Take as many free and paid online classes and webinars as you can about the genre in which you write. READ constantly in the genre you write. Join writers groups. Don't ever give up. Try to write daily.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Susan Reinhardt Living in any world I create and being friends with characters who spring from my crazy head. It's certainly not for the money :)

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Susan Reinhardt I lie down in bed and find so many answers and light-bulb moments in that quiet space before sleep. I also eat snacks and take walks or do yoga. Or I pick up a great book.
