Donovan M. Neal Hey Sean, Thanks for the compliment. I apologize for not responding sooner, but I am not on Goodreads that much. So hopefully you've kept up with my writing and you have had a chance to get the Chronicles of the Grigori.
I am focused on a new non-Bible story series but I am always open to the Lord to give me something to write in the Biblical fiction sphere. Thanks for following my work and you take care! God bless!
Donovan M. Neal Sorry, It's been so long to respond. I'm not on this platform that much. But yes I do have more books coming. I'm working on Apocalypse of Kings and getting that finished and then afterwards I'll be starting a new fantasy series. I also have a non-fiction book coming out later this summer.

God bless!
Donovan M. Neal Hi Cookie,

I have started discussions with the voice actor from the last book, and I hope to have the audio version out in June sometime. If you haven't already please feel free to go to my website (donovanmneal.com) and sign up for my newsletter. I always give my newsletter subscribers the latest info on what's going on.

God bless!

Donovan M. Neal The idea really came from reading the Bible over so many years. I just asked why did God allows Satan to be in the garden of Eden. Where did demons come from. Why they had the agenda that they had. I never saw anything in the media that seriously addressed the fall of Lucifer. It was always told in a "Buffy the vampire" type of way. Which I thought was silly ans trivialized such a important Biblical character. I always thought it would be a great story to tell in a movie. Everyone seemed to treat this character in the Bible in a "silly" way. I decided that I would try to write a possible story that took the story seriously. I hope I accomplished that.
Donovan M. Neal Write daily, learn to write better, and after you are done writing remember that if you want to be successful in terms of being an authorprenuer you cant neglect the business side of your work. Which means promotion, etc. Have a business plan for your book. Cooperate with other authors and help them achieve success as well. Reading is not writing, only writing is writing, plotting is not writing, plotting is plotting. Only the act of creating text matters and nothing will ever replace that.
Donovan M. Neal I really don't need much inspiration. But when I do I pop in some "Trailer music" that pumps me up and echoes the emotion I want to invoke in a scene. I love listening to a good piece of choral music. Duel of the Fates, from Star Wars is one of my favorites. The Age of Man which is actually the music I used in my book trailer. It empowers me.
Donovan M. Neal I am currently working on my second novel. The Third Heaven: The Birth of God. I'm having a plot issue with something Michael has to do, but it will come.
Donovan M. Neal Creating a world that people enjoy, and then them telling you about scenes, or characters they loved or hated. It's wonderful when they get what you were trying to do.
Donovan M. Neal I write around the difficulty, sometimes I'm too focused on a particular thing. So I change focus on something else. usually my blocks are the result of me not knowing where I want to take the story. So sometimes I just run with what I would never do, until something jars my mind, and loosens up.
