Will Moore There's no such thing. Sometimes you don't feel inspired to write, so don't. If you've started the book, do some research - you can never do too much. Maybe plot where your characters are going to go next, using Google Earth. Check out if that gadget you just dreamed up, actually exists. Even in fiction, if things have a basis in reality, they can seem more realistic.
Will Moore Making up alter-egos (i.e. characters) and making myself an alternative life (i.e. a book plot).
