Aaron Watts Yes I am aware as I have received a note about it from yourself.
Aaron Watts Hi Nina,

I have a bit of an eclectic mix of tastes and don't have one particular favourite author.

One of my favourite books is "Dune" by Frank Herbert. There is something, although I'm not sure what, in this book that has always resonated with me. However, one of the most thoughtful books about leadership and the principle of being the best you can that I have ever read is "Once an Eagle" by Anton Myrer (which I'm currently reading again). Although to put these in context of variety of things I read, the book I read before this was "Scrappy Little Nobody" by Anna Kendrick, and the last audiobook I listened to was "Storm in a Teacup" by Helen Czerski.

So, quite a different range of interests and books that I read/listen to. The key thing I look for in a book is something that grabs my interest before I pick it up. If I'm not hooked within 100 pages, then unfortunately it doesn't get finished.

Merry Christmas.
Aaron Watts The tick-tock of a clock keeps you awake. Suddenly it stops... but you're alone and you didn't touch the clock.
Aaron Watts At the moment, nothing specific is on my reading list. However, I do want to go back and re-read Once an Eagle by Anton Myrer. This is an exceptional book and teaches many lessons about great leadership.
Aaron Watts Go for it. Also, carry a book with you to note down thoughts and ideas that might come your way at any time.
Aaron Watts In one word. Time.
Aaron Watts I'm currently just finalising a slightly longer story for 9 - 12 year olds called "Whosme, Charles and the Secret Treasure". I will self-publish this soon. I am also looking at illustrating a Christmas story which I hope to have ready for later this year.
Aaron Watts Seeing the product of your work in print.
Aaron Watts I started to tell my Nephew stories whilst we were on holiday in Cyprus. A couple of years later, my family urged me to put pen to paper and publish them. Now, when I'm not working I spend time thinking about ideas for new stories.
