An error occurred while sorting questions for author Autumn Kalquist.
Legacy Code Fractured Era #2 - my Kindle account indicates there is an update. Is it just corrections or are there changes to the story? Amazon just shows there is a corrected version available.
Autumn Kalquist Legacy Code has an epilogue in the latest version. ;)

Looking here and on Amazon, it seems that the Fractured Era series books 1, 2, and 3 match the Legacy Code series books 0.5, 1, and 2 respectively. Then Fractured Era continues with The Defective Trilogy, followed by the Archives. It's pretty confusing to me. Perhaps one or the other needs updating?

Hi! If I get it well from your site and your Goodreads page, the chronological order of the Fractured Era stories is: Fractured Era Archives: 1. Decode 2. 318 The Defective Trilogy: 3. Defective 4. Infected 5. Protected Legacy Code Series: 6. Better World 7. Legacy Code 8. Paragon Am I right? Now, I'd like to ask where the "Protecteds: Origin" fits chronologically.
Autumn Kalquist Yep! Origin takes place between Decode and 318. It's a flash fiction story--very short--and is an update on what happened in Decode. Thanks!

Autumn Kalquist Congratulations! I just saw this question. Sorry for the wait! I actually wrote another Fractured Era novel first, but that one won't be published until the Legacy Code series is complete. SunPath happens 500 years after the events of Legacy Code. When I was writing the first draft, my main character listened to a haunting song from a file called "Songs and Stories from the Fleet". It got me wondering what life on the fleet was like, and the Legacy Code series was born. I decided to complete the earlier storylines first.

1.) Decode, then 318, then Defective.

If you want to skip 500 years ahead and read Legacy, there are not many spoilers there and you'll see what happens to the people of Earth.

Just wondering if Defect will become available on iTunes (Australia) again? I pre-ordered it a few weeks before it's release (same time I bought & downloaded legacy code), but when I went back to download it a few days after the release it was gone from the ibooks store :(
Autumn Kalquist Sorry about that! It's exclusive to Amazon right now, but you can read it on an iPad (or any device) with the Amazon Kindle app.

Updated response: The Defect episodes will be replaced with the upcoming Defective trilogy.

What are you currently working on?
Autumn Kalquist Defective. It is book one of the Defective novel trilogy and will be published soon. The earlier Defect novella episodes featuring one of the main characters, Selene, are no longer available, but Selene's story will be part of Defective.
