Working out a book tour to launch TRUTH WILL OUT, the third in the Fennimore & Simms series; finishing a novel (not Fennimore & Simms). This one is set in my home town, Liverpool; also working on a prequel to EVERYONE LIES for the BAFTA award-winning TV production company that has optioned the series. Oh, and pitching TV crime drama ideas to TV companies in the UK. It's been a busy year!

It's good to take a short break, then read over the last chapter (or the last few, sometimes). For me, often a block is my subconscious telling me something isn't working, or isn't quite right. I usually discover the problem in the read-through - solving the problem isn't always simple though... You have to tough it out - keep working at it until you get it right - or at least close to right. You can finesse during the edits.
