Keep writing and get advice from experienced people that are doing what you aspire to do...the web, social media makes that possible. Keep looking for good readers and stick with it until you've got good ones. And find a good editor. Murder your darlings. Don't ever stop refining your craft.

I read a fair amount and I love music. I get a great many ideas from music. I'm inspired to write by both. For me, what's exciting is when a story really starts to come together in my head.

The idea was a journey of its own. It started with a song about a man who was held up at an ATM and passerby didn't notice his distress. So the concept began with a girl on a bridge and a guy passing by and I just went from there. The idea was initially, that he noticed a young woman in distress when everyone else missed her.
