Jay Tinsiano Hi Aginieszka, thanks for the question.

False Flag is probably the best book to start but they do read as individual works. Lone Target is a short story (flashback) that also appears as part of the False Flag follow up: Pandora Red.
Jay Tinsiano The follow up to False Flag which is set mainly in Havana. It's set eight years later (1999) and Bowen is pulled into another conspiracy. Future projects include a series of books that take place in the same world, involving Bowen's adult sons and daughter and is a conspiracy thriller / post-apocalyptic epic. There is also a detective one-shot, with Doug Brown (from False Flag) as the main protagonist, in the works.
Jay Tinsiano For me it's the world building, bringing characters alive, creating timelines and then threading it all together before getting into the outlining.
Jay Tinsiano The brain is a muscle that needs exercising. When it comes to writer's block I just start writing anything..the first thing that comes into my head, which is usually garbage but then the brain kicks in and the ideas start coming.
