Keynosa the country was created as a thought, "What would the America's be like if Canada and the US joined forces way back when?" The result of such a union would cause other countries to response with similar unions. So, Keynosa is what I thought Mexico and all of South America would become as a backlash to a massive northern foe/competitor.

By writing on a schedule and keeping to it, even when I don't feel like writing at all. I make writing an active akin to going to work in the morning or going to the gym.

I think of my inspiration for writing as a muscle. The more you work it out, the better it will perform. So, I make a point to write religiously to keep my inspiration muscle going.

Honestly, Sectors was conceived from my angst over the Israeli / Palestinian conflict. I was ready to hammer home the idea that Israel was evil. What developed while I was writing the book was an understanding that fear makes one act in unreasonable ways, even fear that's justified.
