Good question. I had to think about this one for a minute. I would have to say that I relate to all of my characters on some level. I think, in some weird way, that they are all extensions of me.
But if I had to choose one, I would have to say the character I relate to the most is Grace in Collide and Embrace.
I found while writing her character, that while our lives are very different, she possesses a lot of qualities that I do as well. Not that I intentionally wrote it that way, it just sort of turned out to be the case.

It usually just kind of comes to me. But I would say music is my greatest inspiration. I can hear one song and suddenly have an entire novel mapped out in my head.

From a friend of mine who lost her boyfriend our senior year of high school. Her story, her struggle, is what inspired me to write the Two Hearts Series, Collide and Embrace.
