I don't think I've ever had writer's block. I've had I'm too tired to write today, block! But I usually push through, or take an afternoon break or something. But actual writer's block I'm not sure I've ever had that. I can always find a way to fill a blank page.

Getting to tell stories. I love story telling in every form. I feel super lucky to have the chance to be able to do that. And do it in my pjs if I want!

Just keep writing. And reading. Both things are important. Learn your craft. Find a group you can talk with. Work hard. And celebrate wins, no matter how small. If you hit your daily word count. If you finish a short story. If you enter a contest. If you put your writing out to be read by someone. All these things should be celebrated. So keep, writing, reading, learning, and give yourself an occasional pat on the back for doing those things. But mostly, just keep writing!

I am currently working on a follow up to Sit, Stay, Love.! Not a sequel as such, but set in the same world.

I don't have any problem getting inspired. I love the process and it's a rare day where I don't think I have it in me. Usually that would be because I slept like rubbish and was tired! My inspiration comes from my genuine love of writing. And the voices in my head. Lol.

My dog is a rescue dog, and I'm a big supporter of rescue shelters, so it probably started there. I also wanted to write something based in the area in which I grew up. But often my ideas start as a character, or a scene, and I get that down and go from there. Sit, Stay, Love. began like that, and then I just kept writing it!
